Bio

Annabella Gelmetti is a Nashville-based songwriter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist. A guitarist from an early age, she has spent much of her life moving between instruments, genres, and musical worlds. Her background includes classical and jazz training, with a degree in Composition, Music Theory, and Conducting from Gonzaga University.

Her music is difficult to pin to one genre, drawing from folk, alternative, rock, electronic music, and experimental sound design. Across solo releases and collaborative projects, she has accumulated more than 71,000 Spotify streams and received coverage from publications including The DISCO Blog, Nashville Scene, Frequency State, and Alt77.

Outside of music, she works in government finance, which may or may not explain her fascination with systems, structure, and the occasional beautifully orchestrated disaster.

Personal statement....

Executive assistant by day & increasingly difficult to categorize by night... Songwriter, performer, finance, runner, amateur carpenter, aggressive event planner, and occasional investigator of municipal infrastructure.

Currently alternating between strategic planning, writing songs about existential dread, installing trim, calculating interest, questioning social conventions, and attempting to understand why someone scheduled a meeting like that.

I have a mortgage, a miter saw, several powerpoints, strong opinions about formatting, and absolutely no intention of developing a single coherent personal brand.

Unfortunately, I contain multitudes.
